Got wind of this skating event quite at the very last minute. Had some time and decided to head down to help out, as well as capture some new memories with an old and new gang of SMUX Skaters.

Though it has been quite a while, I’m glad the feeling of it all still remains pretty much the same, where the love or interest in skating helps to bring people together. Senior generations despite a difference in ages, or backgrounds, always made time to come down to champion these acts of love to help teach new beginners skating and welcome them with open arms into the SMUX Skating family!

Kudos to the new SMUX Skating EXCO for helping to fight and keep that fire burning and nurture this new breed of EXCOs. Keep up the great work and thanks for having me around all this time, as well as this skating session!

Certainly, it was a challenge skating about 10 straight hours on skates, but the smiles and new hellos made it all worth it! Till our next potential hangout!
