Caught wind of this NParks Concert Series, which was an open concert that was free to the public. I then made some time to drop by with some friends and I must say the musical vibes were not too bad.

Overall, the music was themed around the 1980s and gradually the crowds got pretty involved in the sing-a-longs and as well as standing up to dance along with a communal sway. At the end of the very short night of performance, I guess everyone left with a rejuvenated energy that may have been a good party starter for this Halloween weekend.

Would probably join the next series if my schedule allows it! It’s a good reminder to bring a picnic mat and if you really don’t mind the weight, then bring along a portable chair as well!
