Despite a crazy and relentless downpour coupled with heavy thunderstorms since waking up to prepare at 6:00am in the early morning, we are glad that most of the original team of 34 made an effort to still go through the event with skates.

Overall, we were just blessed with great weather once we arrived near noon and the rest of the day was just an awesome experience with the animals, and I got the great opportunity to skate and shoot some zoo animals along the way.

Though I have to admit the Singapore Zoo has seemed to have truly shrunk in the number of animals over the years and it is quite saddening to see the large numbers of animals gone from the previous exhibits. Nonetheless, we were all thankful for the great opportunity we have had to gather as one big group to skate within the zoo ground on this day.
