Probably one of those memorable days which I did not want to reflect back on the mishap that happened on that day.
Despite bringing a DSLR out to sea, which is a really rare case, and a ‘Strict-No-No’ thing to do… Which I should have probably followed, but Today was a special day with unique access to the Marina Bay area… It’s just an opportunity not to be missed!
Though notably into the trip, the DSLR actually totally malfunctioned due to human error, where Lesson Learnt! Never pass a DSLR to someone who does not really know how to manage it, especially out in open sea waters! And after frantically trying to keep it on or getting it to be able to take some snapshots of the beautiful views in the Marina Bay area, I soon had to lay it to rest as it just shut off on me, due to excessive water intake into the camera’s internal housing… Something that all photographers fear for their cameras!
Nonetheless, it was an AWESOME run with the SMUX Kayaking people! So much love, so many jokes, and just too many silly times that made this trip still one of those positive trips that I would reflect on!
