starringSMU'10 | Faithfully Yours

Faithfully Yours is a fresh initiative launched in collaboration with Holland-Bukit Timah Group Representation Constituency (GRC) and Bukit Panjang Single Member Constituency (SMC), with an objective of fostering and rekindling love between couples.
Faithfully Yours is a meaningful event held in the Commonwealth district for married couples to come together to reaffirm their love for each other through the renewal of their wedding vows. The solemnization will be witnessed by officials from the Guinness World Record™ as starringSMU’10 attempts to break the record for the “Largest Marriage Vow Renewal Ceremony”.
Our aim is to create an avenue for wedded couples to reaffirm their love and commitment to each other, and even provide an opportunity for older couples who have never had the chance to hold a wedding ceremony or experience one.
Through Faithfully Yours, we seek to raise awareness of the importance of marriage as an institution, and to inspire and rekindle the strength of bonded love in other couples. To this effect, starringSMU'10 is targeting an involvement of 2010 participants, as well as their guests, to celebrate this special event.
There will be performances by musical and dance groups, as well as a great array of meaningful services provided to the wedded guests to help commemorate this special occasion. The student participants of starringSMU'10 have an opportunity to give back to the community by assisting and managing this event, being able to view the workings of a marriage up close, and understand the commitment and joy that marital bliss entails.
