Long & behold! It was finally my time to drop by SMU Skatathon 2019, a first despite being thru since its inauguration, as East Coast Park was probably too far for me to visit!

Nonetheless, it was a very welcoming drop by as I saw so many changes and improvements in the park since I have yet to step foot on it for the last 3-4 years! 

Overall, I do see SMU Skatathon as a good session to visit to see old friends and meet new ones, as well as to enjoy a morning breeze while attempting the 21-42km route with about 12-15kg on my back, which totally failed. Haha! 

Kudos to all the winners and participants of the event! It was great getting to see so many skaters, young and old all join this very own SMUX Skating event! An arousing success with great thanks to a great job by the organizing committee, the crew, the participants and the performers!
