What a day it was! Arrived pretty late to the skate session and ended up having to chase the groups that had left prior, with a heavy backpack and DSLR slings onto my arm. What a Rush!

Managed to catch up with the groups and found amazingly that we had a massively huge group of skaters who had joined from NTU and NUS to join together with the SMU group to skate from SMU to IKEA Alexandra.

Most of the route was a pretty cool one, especially discovering a new PCN route that connects most of the route from Clarke Quay to Queenstown. The only major challenge and skater-killer, was of the PCN roads were not made of road-quality smooth-tar, but tiled-blocks, which made the extremely long stretch, a pretty painful one with the “free-feet-massage” that came with the ride.

Nonetheless, glad everyone made it there in one piece and we are thankful for the cross-university-exchange of friends who came over the join in this urban skating session together. To see more of these collaborations together in the near future!
